Published On 04-April-2017
One of the most famous camera manufacturers Nikon is celebrating its 100-year anniversary on July 25th, 2017, and in the build-up to this landmark day in the world of photography we have already watched out the announcement of a dedicated website as well as logo.
Now the camera manufacturer has proclaimed a host of anniversary products, though there is nothing new here in terms of gear, however if you have always wanted a Nikon D500 or Nikon D5 along with a gunmetal finish as well as a special build cap to go with it, then you are enough lucky.
The anniversary D5 version contains a metallic gray finish that evidently 'expresses the revolution as well as reliability of the camera along with the huge splendor', whereas there is a 100th anniversary logo on one side of the pentaprism of the camera, as well as commemorative leather strap embossed accompanied by the 100th anniversary logo.
The bottom side of the camera is carved along with 'NIKON – CONTRIBUTING TO MANNED SPACE FLIGHT SINCE 1971', whereas the body cap is also imprinted along with the anniversary logo.
The camera comes together with an anniversary booklet that celebrates the contribution of Nikon to the space project, and everything's packed in a metallic framework that features a base-plate carved along with the anniversary logo and the serial number of the camera.
This one is the same story just like the D500; though this time the consumer will not get the book or the carved base-plate.
Nikon has also got the metal gray paint out for its threesome of fast f/2.8 zoom lenses. The 14-24mm, 24-70mm as well as 70-200mm are available in the form of special set, along with every option supporting the anniversary logo.
So far, the pricing and availability for the special-version kit has not been announced.
